Kelab Gay Malaysia terima 4,000 'like'

KUALA LUMPUR: Berselindung di sebalik premis perniagaan yang menawarkan servis urutan kesihatan dan spa kecantikan khusus untuk lelaki, kumpulan gay dikenali dengan pelbagai gelaran seperti 'Mat Kunyit' dan 'People Like Us' (Plu) nyata aktif menggunakan rangkaian Internet bagi menarik lebih ramai pengikut.

Kumpulan itu secara terbuka mengumpul pengikut di seluruh negara menerusi rangkaian laman sosial popular, terutama facebook (FB), dengan mendaftarkan akaun atas nama Kelab Gay Malaysia sejak 27 Jun 2011.

January Potluck

The January 7th Potluck was a great way to begin the new year. As usual at any of the Potlucks, there were plenty of great Malaysian dishes and guys too. Some preliminary planning was done for the Pride Parade and the Foodfair. Watch for more information on both events and also please join us marching in the 2006 Pride Parade and at the 2006 Food Fair. A few more pictures of the Potluck are on theSpecial Events 2006 page.

"Wow, Wow, Wow!!!"

"I had such a fantastic time at your special event last Saturday.... Yummie food and lots of it, the entertainment was great! Got to relax, and laugh lots and make some new friends. Lawrence, Victor, Andrew, all the performers were so into it and having fun at the same time... This event was so well planned...When is the next one... I can't wait!!!!!" Thanks for the compliment Dave. You said it all!
This years Food Fair was a resounding success. Although the event was oversold, everyone was accommodated. Kudos to those that worked so hard to make the Food Fair so successful! The next Food Fair will be in 2006 and all information will be put up on the web site as soon as it is available.
The Malaysian Gay Club of San Francisco is donating $287 to the Rainbow World Fund for Hurricane Relief from the proceeds of Food Fair 2005.

The 2005 Pride Parade

With a lot of enthusiasm and energy the Malaysian Gay Club marched in the 2005 San Francisco Pride Parade.

Club members carried either colorful Bunga Raya (Festive Flowers) or Paper Umbrellas decorated with colorful streamers. Spontaneously the guys with the Umbrellas began running around the rest of the contingent twirling their umbrellas much to everyone's amusement and laughter. Whenever the Parade halted the guys did this. All those marching had a whole lot of fun this year.

New Immigration Info for those with Asylum

Pemerhatian Metro Ahad (MA) mendapati, laman itu mendapat sambutan di kalangan golongan gay sehingga status 'like' dikumpul akaun FB berkenaan mencecah hampir 4,000.

Jumlah itu membuktikan kelompok homoseksual kian berkembang dan dikhuatiri pengaruh negatif yang mempromosi hubungan sejenis bakal menarik lebih ramai anak muda tempatan menyertainya.

Lebih mengejutkan, MA mendapati akaun FB didalangi golongan terbabit bukan saja terhad kepada satu akaun, malah setiap negeri mempunyai kelab gay sendiri yang mengumpul sekurang-kurangnya 1,100 like.

Paparan gambar dikongsi rakan komuniti dalam akaun itu sungguh meloyakan kerana mereka mendedahkan sebahagian besar tubuh serta tidak takut berkongsi gambar intim ketika bersama pasangan.
