RG2011... Kisah gadis rusia melawat Penang.Part 2.

Penang and Penang. Visa run to Malaysia. Second day.
I recall that my husband and I flew to Malaysia from Thailand to do have finally Thai visa for 3 months. The first day passed quietly, since we just got Peneng evening and had to move into a hotel and look around a bit.

Having read articles on the Internet, we realized that the Thai visa for 3 months to make quick and easy. After breakfast we potopali seek office. In Georgetown, the capital of the island is full of them. We have to go into everything. And then we waited razocharovanie.Okazalos that for a visa to take up to 9 am, and will give them back just after lunch hour to three. Prices for a visa "do not bite." Common practice and comfortable, but we were not lucky. Even if we were able to shove the documents they were able to give to the next day. And we had bought tickets for the return flight plane in the evening. First, we get bored. And then we decided to go for a walk. Well the truth is, to be in a new country and did not see it would be wrong. Walked through Chinatown. Very colorful!

A walk along the promenade. Many places in Penang under the protection of UNESCO and look into my eyes, and even more when you see this. Georgetown on free shuttle coach at intervals of about 20-30 minutes. They stop near many attractions in the center.

We decided to go to the Butterfly Farm. There are bred about 300 species. We drove for a long time, because in the rush hours traffic jams everywhere. But to go in a comfortable bus nenapryazhno, and beautiful views of the window.

Penang quite well-appointed and well-off island. It often hosts various forums. Center looks like something a little European, and in residential areas can be I'll see you all.

Malaysia itself is a normal country. It is divided into states (some states), the head of each can be a sultan, or governor Raja. These same people are also the spiritual chiefs.

Places worth visiting, very much. That only is the Temple of the serpent, which everywhere venomous reptiles. Narolnen temple incense smoke, it is believed that he does snakes calm. According to legend, the snake crawled there themselves, although I think they dragged there without asking :)

On the streets of Penang is very unusual: Asian culture acquired colonial echoes. Neighborhood churches of different religions is striking.

Get yourself up to the largest butterfly farm in the world (Butterfly Farm, Teluk Bahan) is difficult, but doable. Sizzling sun, so you need to stock up on water ahead of time. There may be a way that your path lies along a truly Malaysian places, there will be no shop. We got the benefit of a woman selling lemonade at the house, and well, she knew exactly two words of English.

For such a lovely butterfly can be seen that we have finally arrived.

Regular price of admission to the farm - 27 ringgit. (1 ringgit Ravera about 10 rubles). Farm just fabulous! When we went there, on my husband isolated English-speaking guide, who talked about everything and all living creatures caught and gave to touch :) the room itself is small, but very unusual: wet steam is sprayed constantly, around the butterfly fish in the pond, sitting in a small cave centipedes, cool iguana in an aquarium, stick insects and beetle-like leaf dangle from the branches. Range of exotic plants. There is even a shrub that turns their leaves when touched.

At the exit of many farm aquarium with spiders and other scary creatures. And a very small but interesting repository of art, there can not be photographed. But in the gift shop we bought a painted mask national. Very beautiful!

After the farm, we went to the National Park of Penang. Take the bus to the end and through proyadya fishing village, we hung on the pier, it was really nice view.

When she realized this was getting dark, go to the park it was scary, because these are small, but the jungle with their inhabitants. But we took a chance. There are many hiking trails, each of which is, or in the mangroves, or turtle beach, or just on the beach. There is also a two-layer lake.

We walked for an hour, until quite scary is not, because everywhere there were signs that all of you are doing on their own responsibility, plus the whole of the forest came the strange noises and sounds. But we still liked the park. And, of course, he is under the protection of UNESCO.

That's how we flew to the unusual or Penang Penang Island (as you wish). Hopefully poznakomitya Malaysia closer soon. All a pleasant journey!
