Polis tahan penulis blog pro-Umno Papagomo
Penulis blog kontroversi pro-Umno Papagomo hari ini ditahan polis.
Beliau ditahan bersama seorang lagi individu yang dikenali sebagai "King Jason".
Perkara itu dimaklumkan oleh pihak polis melalui pesanan Twitter hari ini. Sebab penahannya setakt ini belum diketahui.
Bagaimanapun, sebelum ini dilaporkan terdapat laporan polis dibuat terhadapnya dan seorang pembaca Shahrizad Mohd Diah atas dakwaan mengeluarkan kenyataan berhubung isu Melayu dan Cina.
Free Malaysia Today melaporkan, laporan itu dibuat oleh Jamilah Baharuddin di balai polis Simpang Tiga dan kemudiannya di Sungai Maong di Kuching. -mk
Pro-Umno blogger Papagomo has been arrested, according to a tweet from the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM).
Pro-Pakatan blogger King Jason has also been arrested.
"Papagomo and King Jason were arrested to facilitate police investigation," the PDRM posting on Twitter reads.
The latest posting by Papagomo contained racial remarks against Chinese Malaysians, while King Jason's posting accused BN of buying votes.
According to Free Malaysia Today, a PKR member in Sarawak had lodged a police report against Papagomo over a comment in his blog that called for Chinese Malaysians to be harmed.
Pro-Pakatan blogger King Jason has also been arrested.
"Papagomo and King Jason were arrested to facilitate police investigation," the PDRM posting on Twitter reads.
The latest posting by Papagomo contained racial remarks against Chinese Malaysians, while King Jason's posting accused BN of buying votes.
According to Free Malaysia Today, a PKR member in Sarawak had lodged a police report against Papagomo over a comment in his blog that called for Chinese Malaysians to be harmed.
Police sources in Bukit Aman said that they were also looking for two other bloggers who may have allegedly posted articles or statements that touched on racial lines.
Police also investigating Utusan
According to Papagomo's most recent posting, he says if the "Chinese still wanted more" by May 8, then "Malays will act".
The posting adds: "Remember this is a warning from us and we will do whatever is necessary to defend this country."
Meanwhile, Federal Commercial Crime Investigation Department (CCID) director Syed Ismail Syed Azizan was quoted as saying by The Star that Papagomo was detained at a petrol station in Danau Kota while King Jason was arrested at Kampung Jawa, Klang.
He added that police is also looking for a Facebook user who is inciting for a repeat of the May 13, 1969 racial riots.
In another matter, Syed Ismail was quoted as saying that pro-Pakatan blogger Milosuam has been released on bail after he was earlier arrested for allegedly disclosing classified police documents on Sabah's security.
Police also tweeted that they have received a report against Utusan Malaysia over its front page headlinetoday, 'Apa lagi Cina mahu' (What else do the Chinese want?).
According to the police, the matter is being investigated under Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998 for improper use of network facilities, and Section 500 of the Penal Code for defamation.
The posting adds: "Remember this is a warning from us and we will do whatever is necessary to defend this country."

Pengendali blog KingofGoblok itu dibawa ke Bukit Aman untuk membantu siasatan berhubung tulisan beliau yang memuduh BN membeli undi dan pelbagai pendedahan lain termasuk kehadiran pengundi dari sabah ke semenanjung.
Dalam satu kes lain Papagomo ditahan kerana menyiarkan post yang mmengandungi unsur perkauman. Menurut Free Malaysia Today , seorang ahli PKR Sarawak membuat laporan polis kerana terdapat komen di blog papagomo yang menyeru supaya orang-orang cina dicederakan.
