RG09... Berlin: views from a skyscraper Kolhoff House

Today I wanted to somehow put pictures from a skyscraper Kolhoff House that at Potsdamer Platz (the same skyscraper, which last summer raised a piece of the Berlin Wall ). I hit a skyscraper due to the fact that they had found the company in the face [Info] elena_k85 , which has finally realized that to get from Prague to Berlin is not too difficult. :)

In the heart of Berlin, there are several points where you can see the city from the top: tower at Alexanderplatz (perhaps the most expensive of all the observation deck), the dome of the Reichstag (free, but often a great place), the dome of the Berlin Cathedral (angle is interesting, but the entrance to the Cathedral of charge, while the dome is small and if a lot of people, it is inconvenient to diverge), the roof of Charité (can get there only to initiates) and, in fact, Kolhoff House.

This observation deck opened just a couple of years ago, and another year or two to two and a half ago here it was possible to climb only a couple of euros. Now the site greatly ennobled, and simultaneously raised the price three times as much (6.5 euros). Nice, it is true that observation deck is open until 10 pm (summer and at all until midnight), and the perspective here, perhaps one of the most successful, because standing on a skyscraper you can see all the key attractions: the Reichstag, Alexanderplatz TV tower, Berlin Cathedral , Tierpark. Is it that he Potsdamer Platz, though in an interesting but not very successful, perspective, for "face to face person can not see: a large seen from a distance" (c).

Top viewing platform, gathered here thematic exhibition on the history of the Berlin Wall:

The same piece of wall, which was raised by helicopter last summer:

One of the many bears in Berlin, placed around the city:

Bypass lookout carry on the tradition, in a clockwise direction. View of the eastern part of the city. Once it was all margin of the East Berlin and the wall are strictly below the skyscraper:

The street, which leads to the Reichstag, the distance one can see the monument to the dead Jews of Europe:

Reichstag government building, Brandenburg Gate, the skyscraper Charité - that is, I think, no need to explain. Green Array - is a piece of the city's central park - Tirparka. In summer there are many squirrels, rabbits, and residents of the city, making the grill. In the park, directly across from the monument to the dead Jews of Europe, is a monument to the Nazis murdered gays and lesbians. Berlin general himself in the last two years very much positioned as a "very free city": Circle adverts in the spirit "so frei ist nur Berlin" (Berlin, just so free), pictures of happy non-traditional families ("Berlin ist wenn eine Familie nicht aussehen muss wie eine Familie "-" Berlin - it's not necessarily the family in the traditional sense of the word "), etc.

View on Alexanderplatz. Almost all the houses in the foreground houses. Previously, they were all eastern outskirts of Berlin, and after the fall of the wall, these blocks quickly built up. Now here are the most expensive apartments in the city. That will build on rising above a vacant lot - until you know he's there at all recently appeared.

Alexanderplatz, Berliner Dom, Rathaus, Gendarmenmarkt - well, you already know everything:

So, go ahead. On the left - Leipziger Strasse, which leads towards famous Friedrichstrasse. In the distance one can see the balloon, which can fly by paying the n-Noe number of European money. They fly from Checkpoint Charlie. How exactly is such a trip, to say difficult, but it is - another alternative to all other listed viewing platforms.

More industrial species: this is the boundary between the former "Eastern" and "West" Berlin:

All are moving toward a "West Berlin". This part of it - the deep margin, "West Berlin", so nothing particularly interesting in these parts do not have to look for. The whole life of West Berlin boils somewhere near Kurfürstendamm & around, and it is here still far away:

In these parts is dominated by all sorts of industrial buildings, offices, shops and other attributes of the current good life in the West:

Where Potsdamer Strasse merges with the street name of Ben-Gurion, is the famous Sony-Center (ibid. Kinomaxx, Legoland and other places of entertainment). Strange to form yellow building - it Kulturforum and the Berlin Philharmonic:

The roof of Sony Centre:

Far away, in Tirparke, is seen Haus der Kulturen der Welt (House of Culture) with the overexposed nafig roof:

Sony Center and one of the buildings of the Deutsche Ban:

Once again, views of Potsdamer Strasse. At the bottom you can see the entrance to Legoland, marked with a yellow giraffe made of Lego blocks:

If the last picture you did not see a giraffe, then here it is - a symbol of Potsdamer Platz. Depending on the season, he changed their looks: the winter hat and scarf, hat or panamka spring, summer - flowers. During the World Cup / European Cup - the football fan scarf for Germany. :)

While Lena and I walked in circles, balloon, flying over the city, went to boarding. So all is now clear exactly where his "base":

Oh and one more standard form of the end:
