In early May in preparation for the next Grand Prix Formula 1, eleven teams racing for the first time the royal couple of years conducted a test session. The official race took place on the track of Mugello, near Florence in Italy. As a guest of the British team Lotus I was lucky enough to look behind the scenes and see the life of the legendary race from the inside. In today's exclusive report, I'll take you to the camp teams in the pit lane, and a viewing platform, as well as show you how to live in the participating teams during the race.

In the morning the first of May we left Florence blossoming in the Mugello race track (Italian Autodromo Internazionale del Mugello). It is located 20 km from the city and is the home track of Ferrari.

Unfortunately, we were asked not to shoot in the garage, but the most interesting things happening there. Although, in principle, to understand the command can be: in Formula 1 is a fierce struggle for the result, and technology. Pilots are competing not only for a world title, but for the Constructors Championship. At Mugello was the preparation and setup of the new E20 car to race in Barcelona.

17

Some technical indicators of a race car E20:
- Total weight (with pilot): 640 lbs.
- Total length: 5 meters of 3.8 cm
- Engine: Renault RS27 2.4-liter, V8.
- Fuel and Oil: Total.
- Tires: Pirelli.
- 75% of the car is made of carbon fiber / carbon fiber.

E20 has been designed and built specifically for the Lotus team participation in the World Cup season in 2012.
- The time for acceleration to 200 km / h in 4.9 seconds.
- Time for a full stop from 100 km / h: 1.6 sec.

The volume output at maximum speed can reach 130 decibels, so the entrance to the garage for each team member hang headphones. Recorded sound during the sweep:

The base is located in the Lotus team Enstoune (Enstone, England), so the car is present in the title character "E". The figure "20" means twenty bases. Showed the wheel of E20 and explain where things are located:
