Singa Pura Pura As is widely expected, the police are more concerned with whether the video was 'authentic'. This is 'tahi-kerbau.' Authenticity as to what? Did anyone lodge a police report alleging that the persons in the video had committed a punishable crime? What is the basis of the police investigations that led to their uncustomary announcement that the video was authentic? Does authenticity equate to the proven identity of the persons appearing therein? Also, does it mean that if the video is authentic as claimed by PDRM, it automatically absolves the pornographic trio of any liability under the law for their crimes? Please lah PDRM, do your job properly. Don't be a perkakas for kezaliman.

4th generation pendatang Dear IGP, now that YOU are convinced that this video is authentic and thus the Datuk Trio have committed crime in showing this "non-animated" sex video, what is the police going to do about it? Are you telling the Mlaaysian public that the next time PDRM catches someone showing pornographic video, you are going take 2 weeks to investigate and then refer the file to the AG chambers? OMG Hey, Mr. Speedy Investigation IGP, could you also look into the illegal immigrants living in an abandoned condo construction site in my neighbourhood. They have been there for 3-4 years and the police cars pass thier site everyday and you can see their laundry and stuff from the main road yet our police do NOTHING!!! our crime rate is up but these people get free housing in a prime residential area. Why? Do they pay rent directly to those people who turn a blind eye? Speedy when its porn but NO ACTION when its people's safety and security at stake. Tak Tahu Malu!

Anonymous_4135 IN the first place, we already know it is authentic. In fact, is I have no doubt that it has not been tampered.... BUT.. WHY go thru all the trouble getting a black & white camcorder in this day an age when this technology is already considered obsolute in the late 80's. WHY use a camera which is 20+ years behind time to capture evidence of Anwar? Your motive is clear, that is to kill Anwar's political career. WHY not use a color camcorder? Is it because a color camcorder with higher resolution will show the flaw in the actor? WHY not send this video to an independent professional overseas to do the evaluation? It is not too difficult to measure the actors height, hip/ waise size, neck length etc etc even if it is black and white. Let the independent body evaluate the findings and make that report. Afterall, if you can conclude that the video is authentic within 2 weeks, YET cannot solve Kugan / TBH within 2 years, why should we the RAKYAT believe is true??

Abil Whether the video is doctered or not is the issue here. Either way it is porn and pocessings, producing and exhibiting is a criminal offence and punishable by law. Even if it is Anwar as alleged or a lookalike it is still a porn similar to MCA president's video. The police has to follow the law and arrest and charge the Trio Datuk's, unless for some reason there are above law and provided immunity from prosecution.

Freemsia From the very beginning, I was sure the video is not doctored. It takes a big budget and not to mention the time to doctor a video that long. We are talking about 25 frames per second here. But one thing is, it is definately much more easier to get a look-a-like to get the job done. PKR members who saw the video said the pyschic is not of Anwar with potbelly.

karma Why send the case to AG? The issue is whether the showing of pornography is wrong or not, not whether it is doctored or not. So if it is not doctored, will the AG have any excuse not to charge those who are responsible in showing 'real' pornography in public? Will there be any surprise if there is no further action from AG, like the Lingam 6 case? This time Nazri, PM Department Minister did not challenge anyone to show him which law the trio can be charged with. It is normal for them to drag feet here, just like the cow head gang, caught only after 1 week from the incident despite upsetting many people especially the Indians. Besides the trio, another trio also needs to be responsible for such slow speed - AG, Nazri and Hishammudin. This incident has put the country into the lime light for the wrong reason - swift inaction because the perpetrators are also BN linked.
