SPACE TOURISM TOUR CALIFORNIA 2012 - INTERESTED TO GO?
Salam all,
Space Tourism Society HQ in Los Angeles, CA, the USA is organizing "Space Tourism Tour California 2012" for Space Tourism Society Malaysia Chapter (STS-MC), and STS-MC will be taking the winners of the National Suborbital Spaceplane Design Competition on the trip, but there are 10 empty places available.
Therefore, whoever is interested to joint Space Tourism Tour California 2012 are welcomed.
Among the places we are going to visit are:
1. Mohaje Air & Spaceport (http://www.mojaveairport.com/) including Virgin Galactic & XCOR facilities
2. SpaceX facility (http://www.spacex.com/) near LAX
3. Griffith Observatory (http://www.griffithobs.org/) where autobots had their meeting in "Transformer" movie
4. California Science Center (http://www.californiasciencecenter.org/) where there will be Space Shuttle Orbiter exhibited
5. University of Southern California (http://www.usc.edu/) - the Space Architecture program
6. Santa Monica Beach (http://www.santamonica.com/visitors/what-to-do/beach/)
7. Holywood Walk of Fame (http://www.seeing-stars.com/immortalized/walkoffame.shtml)
We will also be listening & talking to spaceplane designers & engineers, space scientists, astronomers and space architects.
So, if any of you are interested to go alone or with your family, please do not hesitate to discuss with me.
This is a very unique opportunity to visit space places that usually are not opened for visit by public and personally meet the space experts there.
