RG2011... Central Market terminal opens after major renovations in Kuala Lumpur

 


After undergoing renovations for about six months, the Pasar Seni bus terminal, commenced operations. 28 of the 37 bus routes will be operated from the terminal.

After undergoing renovations for about six months, the Pasar Seni bus terminal, commenced operations. 28 of the 37 bus routes will be operated from the terminal.

After undergoing renovations for about 6 months by City Hall, on the date of 22 December 2012 the bus station Central Market, Kuala Lumpur commenced operations today.

Among the RapidKL bus route that will use the new terminal is the route from Jalan Hang Kasturi (platform A1 - A8), Jalan Sultan Mohamed route (platform C1 - C3), Jalan Sultan Mohamed route (D1 - D6), Jalan Sultan Mohamed route (E1 - E3), KTM Kuala Lumpur route (F1 - F3).

According to the Chief Operating Officer of RapidKL buses, Mohd Azam Omar, RapidKL buses to the south, including Pudu corridor remain in operation in Hub near Mydin Sinar Kota.

"Last stop is City Market was closed temporarily by the City Hall from June 27, 2012 for upgrading. Following the closure, 37 the RapidKL bus route moved to several locations to facilitate upgrading works carried out. Starting this Saturday, 28 of the 37 bus routes affected will be transferred back to stop it, "he said in a statement, here on Thursday
